in our first workshop we gave out disposable cameras to teens.
as part of the blue line anti-displacement report young people created research questions and ran workshops for eachother to identify the values they held in their community.
we asked: as a teenager, what are the importatant parts of your community? as the neighborhood inevitably changes as a result of the extension, what kind of things should be held dear? what kind of things are meaningful to young people and how can we use this information to save something for the future?
